I don’t know if you are like me I found that today, children have so many problems such as ADHD, obesity, etc.

In some studies, they have identified that sweet may add difficulties that can affect children’s behaviours and challenges.
Sometimes, we need to modify and improve our lifestyle habits.

Here are some:

1. Weaker Immunity
Excess amounts of sugar can change good and bad bacteria balance in the body which can affect a child’s immune system.

2. Obesity
Sugar increases the calorie content of the food, consuming more calories than the child needs for normal growth and development which over time will gain weight.

3. Future health problems
High risk of health disease, diabetes, arthritis, and osteoporosis later on in life.

4. Tooth Decay
Each time the bacteria in the mouth comes in contact with sugar, acid is produced causing cavities, tooth decay and possibly developing gum disease.

5. Hyperactivity –
Sugar worsens the symptoms of ADHD, including hyperactivity, aggression and destructive behaviour but will not cause ADHD.

In conclusion, it is crucial that we look at our Children’s sugar intake and can find compromises for them with organic foods as much as possible.
